Elwin Saves

A significant improvement in my slap saves and Shatzes came from learning that you can push the machine to the side before slapping or pressing the button. The technique is somewhat tricky, and the timing depends not only on the situation but also on the machine itself, its feet and the floor. Nonetheless, mastering this technique is well worth the effort.

Here are a few examples of Keith Elwin at the Stern Pro Circuit. Note that those saves were made in a single game!
